Three Must Have Activewear Pieces For Your Wardrobe

It's fair to say that Athleisure is no longer just a trend, it's a way of life and it's not going anywhere anytime soon. There was once a stage where we’d feel a little risky wearing black sports tights out for brunch but now, we’re rocking sports tights to work, wearing sports bras or sports crop tops with blazers, and watching celebrities combine yoga pants with stilettos. The world has gone activewear crazy and we are here for it!

Whether you’re a gym-goer or you’ve never touched a gym in your life, we’re sure you have some activewear handy in that closet of yours. If not, it’s time we fix that.

A Pair of Black Sports Tights or Black Yoga Pants.

We don’t know where we would be without our black sports leggings. They are an absolute staple in our wardrobes for many reasons.

 Reason one, they are the best option when it comes to squat-proof tights and hide sweat marks the best out of any colour we’ve tried. They are perfect for high-intensity workouts or workouts where you’ll get a serious sweat on.

Bike Shorts

We are utterly obsessed with bike shorts, especially in the warmer months. Bike shorts have become a hot topic over the last year due to the fact they’re insanely comfy while being classy and cute. We wear bike shorts with absolutely everything.

Pair them with a sports crop or singlet for your workout or dress them up with a cute tee and white sneakers. They are so versatile and are truly worth the investment.

They also work well as running shorts if you find the right pair. If you’re looking to wear bike shorts running, we suggest opting for a mid-length or longer biker short option so there’s no ride up. A phone pocket is also crucial for us when it comes to running shorts.

A Medium - High Impact Sports Bra. 

If you’re a runner or undertake any high-intensity exercise, a medium or high-impact sports bra or sports training crop is a must. 

With sports bras, comfort is key. There’s nothing worse than feeling elastic digging into your stomach or straps putting too much pressure on your shoulders. We prefer our sports bras with thicker straps as they don’t tend to dig in as much as the thin, shoestring straps.
